Tripods

We stock two of the major ranges of tripods: Miller and Manfrotto. Miller's "true" fluid head range, from its compact DS range to its full-featured Arrow range, offer outstanding performance at very attractive prices. Their Solo spreader-less tripods are popular. Manfrotto fluid-effect heads give good value for money performance for DV/HDV applications.

Cinekinetic make a great piece of kit: Cinesaddle. It nestles your camera on a wall, in a tree, on the floor etc., and even on a car. We are the distributors for this too.

  • Tripods

    A robust set of legs is essential for stable, steady shots. However, it is the quality of the fluid head which puts you in control. A "true" fluid head, such as those made by Miller & Sachtler, feature multi-plate drag modules for seamless stops and starts. A fluid head with a 'lubricated friction' approach to drag control, such as those made by Manfrotto, offers great value for money.

  • Monopods

    A monopod, also called a unipod, is a single staff or pole used to help support camcorders and stills cameras. Ideal for use in tight spaces or environments where a tripod may not be allowed, such as sports stadiums, conferences and museums.
