Red Camera film receives thumbs up Image
A film shot with Red Cameras has been given a positive review by one movie critic.

Writing for MovieWeb, Harvey Karten spoke about the use of Red Cameras when shooting movie Life During Wartime.

The film, which was released today (July 23rd), was written and directed by Todd Solandz and stars Shirley Henderson, Ciaran Hinds and Allison Janney.

It follows the story of a dysfunctional family, which Mr Karten said confirms the director has an "eye and an ear for family misery".

The family is seen through the eyes of a teenage boy, who tells the audience about his convicted psychoanalyst father, his mother who falls in love with another man and his older brother.

Particular praise was given to the use of Red Cameras in the production.

Mr Karten said that the camera is "a light machine best able to capture intimate scenes" such as those between the family members.

He added that the equipment also helped shoot "lush" scenes in Puerto Rico.

This comes after Tobi Raikkonen recently praised the Red Camera as a favourite among video professionals, in an article for OzcarGuide.com.
